It really took me a-back when I read his two “C's” of grace. I also would like to continue to share what Dietrich Bonhoeffer had written in his book “The Cost of Discipleship” concerning his thoughts on grace. Buy Bonhoeffer's the Cost of Discipleship in ebook format. In Bonhoeffer: Pastor, Martyr, Prophet, Spy (Thomas Nelson), author Eric Metaxas uncovers the person behind such Christian classics as The Cost of Discipleship and Life Together. However, his post has some strong parallels with Dietrich Bonhoeffer's criticisms of “cheap grace” in the opening chapter of The Cost of Discipleship. I have been thinking much: What is the cost of discipleship?
